Quilt no.1 DONE!

I am FINALLY done with Jude's quilt and I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out! It was definitely a looong process. I had no idea what I was getting myself into since this is the very first one I've made. I guess being pregnant made it a little harder too. Sewing for long periods of time definitely took it's toll. Now to finish Emery's.....

Bath time!

Jude can never resist a bath time... not even at his cousins' birthday party! At home, as soon as the bathroom door opens he books it for the tub so I wasn't surprised he did the same thing as soon as he heard the water running at the party. Such a silly boy.

{8 weeks & 3 days to go}

This pregnancy has definitely been a lot more challenging than the first one! It's flown by, but it has had a lot more aches & pains! The doctor said that since my body is already stretched out & weak that it's normal to get more pains - it's good to know it's nothing to worry about. Sleeping is almost impossible now & moving/getting up after I'm already in bed is not worth the aches & sharp pains that come with it. Despite these things, I am SO grateful to have my little girl safe & growing inside my belly. I am so thankful that we have been blessed with another sweet little spirit to take care of. I cannot wait to meet her and give her kisses & loves! I already laugh at myself for how ridiculous I look most of the time trying to move around {picture Igor walking-all slow, wobbly, & hunched over haha}. I just need to cherish the time I have this little girl snuggled up tight in my belly & the time that Jude & I have to play while it's still just the two of us.

St. Patrick's Day.

Starting traditions seems a lot more fun now that Eb & I have a little family of our own! This St. Patrick's day I wanted to do something for Jude, but not go all out since he's still too little to really understand what goes on with holidays. So, I decided to make a special green breakfast for the fam. I made waffles with green sprinkles with a side of a green vanilla sauce. You can find the recipe here! It was actually SUPER yummy and not overly sweet which you might expect. I can't wait to start more fun traditions with the family!

30 Weeks & 5 Days.

...And Jude is taking FULL advantage of the extra padding. At least one of us is nice & comfortable!

Little Artist.

There aren't many things that will keep Jude occupied for a long period of time. The one thing I've found that will keep his attention is coloring! He absolutely loves it. He'll hold as many crayons as he can in each hand and then he'll keep maneuvering them around until he has the  exact color that he wants to use - such a smart little boy!

Sleepy Head.

Every night we have family prayer in Jude's room before he goes to bed. Poor little Jude couldn't even make it through the prayer, he was so exhausted! I love my little family and can't wait for our newest edition!
